Al-Mizan salary system for the public sector:

Public sector salary feature in Al-Mizan software is considered unique because it is directed at the public sector and it is highly flexible and able to respond to the changing needs of rules and regulations in salary calculations. Here are some of this program features:
• The program is directed to the service and commercial segments of the public sector for calculating salaries and wages according to basic laws and regulations of public sector employees.
• The program supports direct automatic bank deposits of salaries. This is in compliance with the prime minister’s office directive number 6147/15 dated  30/8/2005 directing all public sector agencies to facilitate direct deposit transactions.
• The program has a special feature for deductions and open compensations: this means that it is possible to add any deductions or new compensations or foundations-specific current of future transactions. This is in addition to the ability to define its calculations mechanism, without the need to go back to the software company for modification. This means prompt salary calculations and eliminates the need for repeated software modification minimizing time and cost.
• The program has a special feature for discounts and open credit: this means that a user can add any discounts or open credits or company new credits or future credits. Wit the option to specify credit conditions without the need to refer the matter to the software company. This means that salary computations can be performed readily and without delay and it also eliminates the need for repeated software modifications, thus reducing time and cost.
 • Ease of use and speedy data entry through:
1. The possibility to modify specific data for a group of employees with common characteristics.
2. The possibility to add or modify discount for a group of employees with common characteristics.
3. The possibility to add or modify payments for a group of employees with common characteristics.
4. The possibility to check a discount or a payment for a group of employees with common characteristics.
The ability to handle startup dates and attendance interruptions (resignations, absenteeism, etc.) within any given months.
• Excellent handling and management of bank loans and donor entities and cooperative societies in:
1. Define and add any clientele.
2. Automatic tracking for paid loan capitol.
3. Automatic generation of each employee monthly salary withholdings.
4. Automatic generation of paid loan capitol.
5. Special options for last payment manipulation with the option to combine the last two payments when necessary.
6. Automatic monthly payment cancellation when the last payment is made.
7. Warranty option. This allows one employee to make a full or partial payment on behalf of another employee when unable to make his payment.
8. The option to follow up all the options listed above through detailed auxiliary reports.
9. Issue detailed lists for each entity. With the option to categorize these lists and control columns and listed information in it.
• An option to print periodic reports such as:
1. Discount lists.
2. Credit lists.
3. Salary tables for the ministry of finance.
4. Printing final organized and categorized tables sorted according to items and ready to be sent to the ministry of finance.
5. Printing salary accumulation report according to desired keys (cost centers, employment centers or categories or salary agents …).
6. Printing salary table for any employee at the press of key with the option to address it to any office.
7. Printing a closing account of any employee of a group of employees any for any given period of time going back several years.
8. Printing special loan payment tables for real estate loans categorized according to the monthly payment value.
9. Printing salary vouchers that can be distributed to employees at the time salary payment.
These vouchers are unique because:
§  These vouchers are detailed, clear and readily understandable by the employee.
§  Clear break down of the employee’s payments and discounts.
§  Detailed employee monthly payments (popular bank loans, real estate bank, labor housing, years of service adjustment ..) in so far as monthly payments and remaining balance for each.
§  Detailed employee withdrawals from the banks and cooperative societies and the remaining payments.
§  This program allows high degree of control over the voucher design and the option to add any important information (employee category, employment class, employment date, social security number, social security payment ….)
§  Dynamic voucher option: this is the option to include payments and new discounts in the voucher which can be added in the future in the extra columns in this voucher. This is particularly important in keeping the need for a voucher new design in the future to a minimum.
§  Smart voucher design keeps voucher printing time to a minimum.
§  This detailed voucher is helpful in reducing employee inquiries to a minimum and sometimes eliminating them altogether because it is clear and comprehensive.
10.   The program includes a number of other important reports.
• Perform salary increases automatically.
• The possibility to prepare employee promotion tables and to perform salary modification automatically.
• An advanced authorization system that allows user definition, groups of user definition, password definition and access privileges for these users and data access and data modification privileges.
• High flexibility in print report design:
1. Flexibility in print condition determination.
2. Specific field printing highlighting.
3. Data categorization control.
4. Dynamic report capability: this allows sending reports to most printers (laser, dot matrix, etc.) using almost any paper size defined by the user.
5. Special features for close control of printable data in any one page. Such as number of columns per page, printing resolution, this achieves a sizeable reduction in paper consumption.
6. Exportable reports to MS Excel and MS Word or to a web page (HTML) or even sending directly by fax or by e-mail internally.
• Internal data back up and data recovery. This prevents data loss.
• The program supports real-estate and commercial banks direct deposits for employee salaries (ATM). This is done via employee salary exportation synchronized with the banks standards.
• Other important features:
1. The program is designed to work in a multi-user computer network environment.
2.  It uses Microsoft SQL Server database which is considered among the most powerful relational databases internationally.
3. The program has been done using Microsoft .NET Framework technique which is considered one the most modern programming techniques worldwide. This gives the program stability and reliability on all operating systems.
